Description

Materials:

SECO 7 conical seals are available in a variety of high-quality materials, tailored to meet the specific needs of aerospace and industrial applications:

  • Aluminum: Made per QQ-A-1876 or AMS 4001 (updated to ASTM B 209).
  • Copper: Manufactured according to ASTM B 152 and ASTM B 152M.
  • Nickel: Conforms to ASTM B 162 or AMS 5553 standards.
  • Stainless Steel: Made per ASTM A 240 specifications.


Standards and Compatibility:

SECO 7 conical seals are designed for 37° flared fitting ends in full compliance with both AS4824 (aerospace applications) and SAE J514/1_202112 (general and industrial use). This dual compliance ensures that SECO 7 seals offer superior performance in both flight-critical environments and hydraulic systems. The SAE J514/1_202112 standard defines the dimensional and performance criteria for metallic connections, ensuring leak-proof, full-flow connections in high-pressure hydraulic systems.

Available for tube connections ranging from 1/8″ to 3″ nominal diameter, SECO 7 seals are engineered for precision and reliability across a wide range of applications.


Plating Options:

To further enhance durability and performance, SECO 7 conical seals come with optional surface treatments:

  • Tin Plating: Available for all material types, offering enhanced corrosion resistance.
  • Silver Plating: Available for nickel and stainless steel conical seals, providing superior protection and conductivity in harsh environments.
